As far as I can tell there’s no way to set a separate billing email. It would be nice to also see in the dashboard what’s taking up most memory and disk space and to be able to set up alerts, such as if there are queries that take too long to execute.

The interface is simple but they seem to have thought of everything. All the info you need to connect, which is what you primarily need to for a DB in the cloud, is provided simply and in a super obvious manner!

Backup downloading is cumbersome. You must use PostgreSQL’s pgdump CLI utility, and if you want to download an older snapshot, you must first restore it to a database instance using point-in-time recovery and then create a dump using pgdump. Ideally, I should be able to go to the web console, select a snapshot and click “Download”.

We have been hosting our own PostgreSQL server for years and had to manage upgrades, backup and scaling on our own.
