The drag and drop configuration to create the processes makes the product easy to use and configure. Most of the icons are intuitive on what they are and how to use them. The use of the colored icons for each value also helps to know that that value is looking for.
The product is expensive. It is also the Cadillac of workflow platforms with document transformation built in. In many cases the product can do what you want it to do but there may be other more cost effective platforms.
Kofax TotalAgility is a platform that incorporates the best of document capture and management along with a workflow component that is powerful and extensible. It’s integration with outside data sources, powerful form design tools, and document cleanup and transformation tools are second to none in the market.
Working in the accounting department of my company, we have thousands of pages to scan and electronically file a month of financial documents. This system makes that process quick and simple.
This product is rapidly evolving and getting polished through frequent service packs. It is not uncommon to run into a bug or an issue that requires a workaround in order to get the desired functionality.
