MySQL is a well balanced product, while it is free to use, it also has many features you can find in corporative solutions, like SQL Server and Oracle. If you ever need help, you will find answers almost everywhere, from their own documentation to stackoverflow and other forums, easily. You will have a very short learning curve with MySQL.

Once the mysql query language is learned, it is an awesome way to quickly query data and get all of the information desired. Functions are also extremely useful for linking data together that doesn’t use the same primary key to link the data together.

As we know that mysql is widely used and adopted, it offers great performance along with easy to use interface and features for it’s users. It acn be configured over WAN and LAN networks. It arranges data in structured manner which makes it simple and clear design to understand and tackle with it accordingly. Supported by a wide range of softwares and servers.

It occurs some issue like in the lower version before 5.0 it doesn’t support ROLE, commit. It also incurs some stability issues. Requires high memory to process as well as difficulty to debug and maintain the data inside. It also offers some sort of inconsistencies when used with other tools and softwares.

I mainly use MySQL in my projects to maintain my database records. Its been very useful to me in the past couple of years. Its very easy to use and I would definitely recommend MySQL to any newcomer for its ease of use and intuitive workflow.
