It is very complete for any type of project or application. It is stable, easy to use and can handle a lot of structured data. It is free software and is very well documented It is very popular and has a very varied community around the project.
Its graphic environment and considerable savings in operating costs: PostgreSQL has been designed to have a maintenance and adjustment lower than the products of commercial suppliers, while retaining all the characteristics, stability and performance. Stability and reliability: There have been no drops in the database.
PostgreSQL is another Database system that we use to store and manage our data. IT’s highly versatile. But I have to give 4 stars because as a developer I feel that it isn’t as robust as oracle. There are few issues in dealing with different datatypes and other minor issues. But a Four star since It’s an open source. If we did not use oracle as well, I would’ve given it five stars for sure.
PostgreSQL is one of the most used database in all over the development companies and as well in the cloud storage , the PostgreSQL have the most advanced features in the market the auto commit is one of the most well suited for all the client storage factors and the DB logs are well kept in the file server when ever we needed the logs for the executed query are well kept in the write manner with the local time.
I love the power and scalability of this wonderful open source software. If like me use it to develop geospatial application you can use the beautiful PostGIS spatial extension.
