Overview
Tunnel Bear is a VPN software that guides companies into saving their corporate data by adding an extra security layer to it. This software helps the users to access blocked websites through different browsing locations.
Its cloud-based software allows the admins to use TunnelBear’s administration console and get all information. This includes billing, invoicing history, and user details. With Tunnel bear at work, the developers get security alerts for unsafe public networks connecting to closest servers through closest tunnel functionality.

Reviews

Overall: It’s a good VPN, I recommend using it for just some private browsing.
Pros: The UI is nice, the connection is stable with multiple options. It has a kill switch which is very important for VPN services.
Cons: It comes with a cost which makes it hard to use for freelancing when you are a student.

Overall: My company have bought paid subscription for another VPN client, which has really terrible support and doesn’t do the basic thing it is supposed to change your location and IP. Since I have to do my work and the other VPN didn’t work as supposed to I had to install the TunnelBear app and use the free option in order to finish my work.
Pros: This is the easiest most user friendly VPN which I have ever used. And I’ve used a lot. I really like that it is fool prof, works fast, you can try it for free and does what it is supposed to do.
Cons: I would’ve like to have the chance of choosing different servers on a specific location. Other than that there is nothing more I would add

What do you like best?
TunnelBear is an old company, since 2011 offers VPN solutions and was recently acquired by McAfee.
TunnelBear has a free plan (500 MB), but if you meet the challenges of sharing tweets, you can earn more data.
Furthermore, TunnelBear is very easy to install and use, works well on Windows and MAC as well as having an app for mobile devices (IOS and Android).
What do you dislike?
For those who intend to use it for personal use as streaming apps and download torrents, TunnelBear is not recommended! TunnelBear’s main function is to keep your connection secure and anonymous.

What do you like best?
Well TunnelBear has helped my online gaming better. Before I’d usually experience glitches but now with TunnelBear online gaming is smooth
What do you dislike?
The only thing I dislike about TunnelBear is the fact that sometimes connectivity is a bit slow. Just saying because there was a day I decided to turn on my TunnelBear VPN and then I experience some slow networking when it came to social medias. I do hope that this problem is corrected soonest

Pros
We have been using this VPN for quite some time and It worked great with a good balance between features and monthly cost, even the UI was fun to watch.
Cons
After the acquisition from McAfee, we felt the security was compromised as all the traffic wasn’t encrypted and secured but it actually may have been stored. As the company that used to be in Toronto now has to comply to US security and privacy requirements means no information is really private in their servers.
