My company uses this software to track statistics of specific film showings in particular languages. It tracks plays from our app and online views of our films. It’s accurate and up to date when I pull stats during the week.
Great way to view and extract data from Ocloud using the BI publisher tool. Simple, intuitive UI with the ability to create and schedule extracts by building data models. For recurring extractions, the scheduler is fairly powerful and easy to use. Users have the option to extract data in different formats and store it locally, or load it on an FTP server using saved credentials.
For me, the most valuable feature is availablity of using existing PL/SQL code. Also possibility of multiple format export.
The platform’s navigation pane and options takes some time to get used to for a new user. The set up is basic but we’ve come to find that new users have trouble finding their way around and locating the options they seek. In order to be able to use the platform and the reports that Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher provides correctly, new users really have to understand the logic of the system and various reports.
As this is the comprehensive product but this some complexity as well. Some of which i liked least is configuration is too much complex. Front end environment is not much user friendly which handle end user many time and there may be a chance they avoid to use it which we faced some time.
