It has a wide support for the plugins. You can find almost any plugin you would think of. There are lots of tutorials/questions etc. on the internet too which makes it easy to deal with your problems. There are plenty of cheap option to host your WordPress instance, which is a big plus. There is also a lot of themes you can use for free, but also lots of high quality paid ones (that are not expensive too).
I think WordPress is one of the best softwares for building a website that gets visible on search engines. Besides it’s easy to customize your website design. You can even get a nice template and then make it your own.
WordPress is an open-source offering. As such, it may not give you the results you want unless you are either comfortable with writing PHP/JS/CSS or paying someone else to do so. However, even a non-technical person can, with a little patience and some good tutorials, set up a functioning site.
You need to know a lit bit of coding and building websites. But if you know the basics you can keep on building your one. Also there are lots of tutorials on how to create a great website for your brand on the Internet. Or even so you can pay someone to build it for you.
So far the experience is very good. Twice I have bought the WP hosting and have regretted it, anyway. The plugin marketplace is great, you can always find a great and suitable theme for your website needs. WP is famous enough to have integrations with almost every service and company out there.
The way a total layman can pick up the basics and publish a website for oneself is mind boggling. I know there are even easier solutions. I tried them. But no one, absolutely no one has the same balance of freedom, ease of use and gradual learning curve like WordPress.
WordPress has become the most popular content management system (CMS) for installing websites. It is largely used as content management system in place of the widely used blogging systems such as Blogger and Tumblr. What makes it more popular is that it is free. Free means that you don’t have to pay for the service. But to avail WordPress, you need a hosting account. This means you need to sign up with a WordPress hosting provider like WPEngine.com.
