Reviews
Float has a nice clean interface with a powerful search feature so you can filter down by person, client, project etc. very quickly and easily. The documentation for Float’s APIs is nice and clean. Although our software doesn’t naturally integrate with Float, we’ve been able to use the API to bring projects in automatically from our sales tracking platform.
Setting up projects is very easy. Training the team was a breeze and once set up, the UX is so intuitive that everyone is using it like they’ve been on Float for years. Drag and drop functionality for the scheduler is very useful to Great took to see who’s doing what at a glance.
I really like Float- after comparing to other apps it suits all of my companies needs. I like the visual representation of projects and I have made it that each client is a different color which is so helpful. This rally helps my team understand what is going on and what is priority.
Float is helping us to understand better our resource management and the financial health of the projects. It helps us to decide which is the best team to work on which project. We are getting better results using Float.
I do find that compared to some other systems, a level of detail when it comes to finances and budgets vs resource is missing. Whilst you can get some very top-level detail, the ability to link actual time spent versus project budgets is a little simplistic and could be expanded upon to really drill down into more detail to provide better overall reports.
