Greenshot is super easy to use. The keyboard shortcuts are easy to remember. It consumes little RAM and CPU.
Obfuscating tool, the sequence tool (if that is the right name for the tool – every time you click, it leaves a numerical sequence, indicating steps), and the share plugins definitely come in advantage over its competitors. I also like the option to open an already existing file. With many other similar tools, you need to open the image and make a screenshot of it, if you want to annotate it. Greenshot allows you to use an already existing screenshot. On top of everything, it is portable and free.
1. Easy to use and setup. 2. Capture options regarding the area of the screen are there cecause of which users can select an area to be captured and it also supports full screen snap. 3. Good customisation options regarding the capturing among other tasks.
