Reviews
Mavenlink gives me a real-time view of project burn rates, utilization (billable vs. non-billable), and makes the life of a project manager so much easier. Being able to quickly look over all projects to check the burn rates (if it’s green then it’s good; if it’s red then it’s bad) saves me so much time.
I do not feel it was used as much as it could have. My company was not really monitoring use and it usually was used for large projects. I think a lot was skipped over when projects had to close, as I guess various employees thought it was hard and a waste to use.
I like the ability to filter my projects by color and status so that I can easily find the projects that I need to work with. The “insights” reporting database has allowed me to create reports to help me control the productivity of the team. Did I mention that Mavenlink integrates with Salesforce (SFDC)? Once we close an opportunity in SFDC, the project is set up for me in Mavenlink and placed into a “Not Started” status.
Our company has some unique business practices that makes most out-of-the-box platforms difficult to use. Mavenlink is customizable without being overly difficult to set up. It also has a powerful reporting engine that allows us to slice and dice our data with custom reporting.
